Flowers for fellas

We’re on a mission to encourage the gifting of flowers to guys. Men’s fashion has gone all flowery and its a trend set to continue in Spring/Summer 2020 judging by catwalk shows in London, Milan and Paris this week. The time has come for men to be into flowers.

We’d like to see the buttonhole or boutonnieres making a comeback. Usually only reserved for formal occasions and weddings, there are so many manly arrangements to choose from with succulents, fresh herbs and even feathers.

Bouquets for boys

Rather than getting hung up on “male arrangements” focus on the taste of the recipient. Mr Plant Geek aka Michael Perry told Garden Escape he would love to receive gladiolas, also known as “sword lilies”. A flower made famous by both Morrisey and Dame Edna Everage.
