Christmas is a time for divine indulgence. What better place to pick up fabulously festive food, drinks and gifts than a farm shop? Millets Farm Shop’s christmas food and drink marquee is open 7 days a week, up until Christmas Eve… Perfect for the last minute shoppers out there! Why not gather independent delights and craft a personalised hamper for loved ones, brimming with scrumptious treats.

Something for the kids

Elves Workshop

Expect plenty of crafting fun for kids at Millets Farm, from 19th to 22nd, dive into the festive spirit with Santa’s Elves in an enchanting workshop. Children will delight in creating their own stuffed snowman to bring the holiday magic home! After finishing their adorable creations, they’ll be whisked away to the story room where the Head Elf, “Chip,” will lead them in lively dances and sing Santa’s favourite songs. The festivities continue as they cosy up with a heart-warming holiday tale, accompanied by festive refreshments. Book onto the workshop to meet Chip!

Christmas Dance About Disco

Join the Sprouts team in the Sprouts playbarn for an evening full of play frame climbing and disco dancing fun on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st December between 6pm and 8pm. Millets Farm will be keeping their Rose Cottage Café open during the event for disco goers to purchase refreshments! Pre-booking is recommended to avoid disappointment as tickets cannot be purchased on the night of the even. You can purchase tickets on the Millets Farm website.

Local theatre group WhatNot will be performing their interactive, family friendly performance of ‘The Stealer of Stories’ for one day only on Friday 29th December.  There will be a morning and matinee performance at The Lakeview Suite, above the Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant. Renowned as being a festive hotspot with a mass of show-stopping majestical Christmas decorations and events is Whitehall Garden Centre, also home to our Wiltshire showsite.

East Bridgeford Garden Centre 

With a huge undercover shopping area and a range of restaurants to choose from you can certainly make a full day of it at our Nottinghamshire showsite at East Bridgford Garden Centre.

Something for the whole family 

For two day and nights only is Trentham’s new Christmas Festival. Located in Trentham’s spectacular gardens, expect to see an ice sculpture trail, festive live music, lots of scrumptious food and the artisan Makers Market supporting local businesses! Fancy something extra special whilst you are there? Experience the enchantment of Christmas by hiring out a private igloo pod, complete with a complimentary hot cocoa for kids and mulled wine for adults.


Something with Santa

Visiting Santa in one of his enchanting grottos is a magical way to make your children’s dreams and wishes come true this December. Many Garden Centre’s offer special events where you and your family can not only meet Santa but also enjoy festive activities and treats…

At Endsleigh Garden Centre (Devon) and East Bridgford Garden Centre (Nottingham) you can tuck into breakfast or afternoon tea with Santa Claus!
