Cladding
13mm redwood tongue & groove cladding as standard, with upgrade options available
Timber Treatment
High quality timber treatment applied throughout.
Floor Construction
13mm tongue & groove timber floor with pressure treated floor joists.
Roof
Tongue & groove timber roof with polyester mineral felt in green, black or red as standard, with upgrade options available.
Option for a higher pitched roof for extra internal height.
Doors
Lockable double doors with black ironmongery.
Windows
Fixed windows either side of the double doors and opening windows in each side, with plain, single glazed toughened glass.

Roof Upgrades
Roof upgrade options are available on the following Cottage Range buildings:
Ashton, Astwood, Clifton and Tenbury:
-Upgrade to bitumen mineral felt tiles, pressure treated slatted roof, cedar slatted roof, cedar shingle roof or slate effect tiles
– Opt for a higher pitched roof to gain extra internal height on the Astwood and Tenbury
Harwood and Stretton:
– Upgrade to an EPDM rubber roof – a maintenance free, synthetic, one-piece rubber membrane
Hopton:
– Upgrade to pressure treated slatted roof, cedar slatted roof, cedar shingle roof or slate effect tiles
Cladding Upgrades
Upgrade the exterior cladding of your building:
– Heavy duty 19mm redwood tongue & groove
– 12mm Western Red Cedar tongue & groove
Window and Door Upgrades
Window and door upgrade options include:
– Additional doors and windows where layout allows
– Privacy style windows (where layout allows), allowing natural light and ventilation without compromising privacy
– Brass or chrome ironmongery
You can also upgrade the glazing style of your doors and windows to:
– Glass-to-ground glazing
– Square top glazing design
– Square leaded glazing
– Half jointed Georgian-style crossbars
– Tinted glass, where all glazing has an anti-sun tint applied to one side of the unit (available on plain glass only)
Exterior Finish
Coloured painted finish
A comprehensive paint system is applied prior to your building leaving the factory. The paint system comprises of an initial undercoat and a further top coat of your chosen colour.
Internal Insulation and Lining
Your building can be internally lined with U-foil insulation to the walls and ceiling, covered with one of the below options:
– 12mm redwood tongue & groove matchboard
– 9mm painted MDF moisture resistant tongue and groove board (available in Ghost White, Soft White, Vintage White and Smoke White)
40mm solid board cavity insulation can be fitted as an alternative to U-foil insulation.
Floor Upgrades
Add a set of pressure treated floor bearers
Floor bearers are 45x45mm pressure treated lengths of timber which run in an opposite direction to the floor joists, making a crisscross formation. By taking away direct contact from the base, they allow air circulation and ventilation.
Upgrade to a heavy duty redwood floor
Upgrade to a heavy duty 19mm redwood floor from the standard 13mm redwood floor boards. If your building has pressure treated cladding, the heavy duty floor will be 19mm pressure treated redwood.
Floor Coverings
Laminate flooring
Add premium, hard wearing laminate flooring to your building, with a wide range of styles to choose from.
Engineered oak flooring
Add engineered oak flooring to your building – a floor covering consisting of a solid wood top layer with a plywood base construction. Engineered wood flooring is constructed in a way that it provides better stability and resistance to variations in temperature and moisture, whilst giving the appearance of solid wood.
Partitions and Open Sided Areas
The following upgrade options are available on your Cottage Range garden building:
Ashton, Astwood, Stretton and Tenbury:
– Internal partitions and walls can be added to your garden building to create additional rooms or storage sheds, accessed via internal doors or external shed-style doors
Clifton:
– A shed extension can be added to your building, accessed via an external shed-style door
